This graphic uses Taxi ride pick-up data provided by the MIT Transportation Challenge 2014 to measure activity in individuals sectors. These were built in Earth from major roadways and commonly recoginized neighborhoods (or special interest points e.g. Fenway Park). The sp package in R was used to score the pick-up data onto the sectors.
